- Passes out from the axilla through M. coracobrachialis
- Runs down the arm under the biceps tendon
- Ends up in the forearm as N. cutaneus lateralis

- Can be injured by direct trauma, puncture wound
- Numbness lateral forearm
- Weakness of elbow flexion
- Reduced biceps reflex
- Muscle atrophy of m. biceps brachii
- Deformity in injury
- Elbow in extension (weak M. biceps brachii, normal M. triceps brachii)
- Forearm in pronated position (weak M. biceps brachii, normal M. pronator teres and M. pronator quadratus)
