Morton's metatarsalgia

- Pain in the forefoot when walking and running
- Plantar nerve pinched between the metatarsal heads, usually between the 3rd and 4th toe
- Pressure leads to irritation of the nerve and fibrosis forms around the nerve or a neuroma
- Examined by squeezing the forefoot together or flexing the toes
